In her role, Lisa is responsible for overseeing an integrated enterprise risk framework, strategic planning, financial oversight, capital planning, shareholder relations, internal audit, and compliance at Parkside. These responsibilities will allow her to drive a strong culture of compliance through cooperative partnerships with department leaders and other stakeholders, contributing to the overall creation and success of key strategic priorities and initiatives.

 

Lisa's professional journey encompasses 28 years in the banking industry, during which she held various leadership roles in administration, finance, risk management, and internal audit. Most recently, Lisa served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. Her accomplishments included directing and overseeing various critical functions, such as accounting and finance, grant research administration and reporting, institutional research, and human resources. In addition, she actively contributed to committees dealing with audit, finance, investment, and enterprise risk management.

 

Lisa's passion for working with people, her tenacity in addressing challenges, and her ability to derive enjoyment from the journey have been the driving forces propelling her successful career. Her experience spans diverse business scenarios, including growth and divestiture phases. Lisa’s diverse experiences have formed a robust foundation for comprehending how various teams contribute to the overall success of the organization, highlighting the important role played by each team member. Lisa graduated magna cum laude from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on accounting. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri.
